This is the Kunze Family. They are some friends of ours from Portland. I first met them a few years ago when I went to Portland for the very first time. Each time my wife and I are back in Portland, we make it a point to see this family. They are awesome!

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you…Simon! This is my nephew. I was up in Portland, Oregon visiting my wife and got to take a few photos of Simon. Here are a few of my favorites!

This is Evan & Audrey. Audrey and my wife Kimb went to school together when they were younger…way younger. Evan and Audrey have become great friends of ours, especially after Kimb and I got married. They are one of the couples that we always hang out with. The 4 of us went with a couple other friends to Destin, Florida for Spring Break 2010. All I can say is that there were many memories made during that week. It was during this week that I think I truly came to appreciate the fact that I enjoy people watching.

By the way, Evan is an amazing dancer thus making his wife an amazing dancer. This explains why they are dancing in a few of these pictures. So here they are…Evan & Audrey St.Germain.

Seniors 2010 – Laura

Meet Laura. Laura just graduated from the University of Texas a few weeks ago. Laura was a history major with a love for all things theatre. I drove up to Austin for a few hours and she treated me to some wings at Pluckers, and then we proceeded to walk around the UT campus, in the heat, telling her story. There has been a recent new addition to the Joel Gutowsky Photography store! This is a Little Kiss. It is 4″x4″ of leather bound, custom designed, album goodness! I designed one to have in my portfolio using my cousins senior session. You will also see a set of swatches showing all the colors of leather you can get. I’m extremely excited to have these as another tool to use to tell your story.

Hayden – Class of 2010

A few months ago I went and got my hair cut by my good friend Chelsea. About this time I had been thinking about different ways to get my name out there in the photography world. Chelsea does hair for proms, weddings, etc. so I thought I would take some of my business cards to give her to see if she could give them away to clients. She was excited at the opportunity to promote me and took my cards. Not 10 minutes after I left the salon, Hayden’s mom came in to get her hair cut and asked Chelsea if she happened to know any photographers. Chelsea got a big smile on her face and then gave her my card. I’m so grateful she did.

This is Hayden. He is a drummer, just like me, so we had plenty to talk about while we did his senior session. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
