Someone once said that a picture is worth a thousand words.  Though this is true, a photograph is much, much more.  A photograph is full of memories.  The memory of the moment.  The memory of the day.  The memory of a specific time in our lives.  The memory of a feeling of love.  The memory of a feeling of accomplishment.  The memory of a story.

Each day we live is another day added to our story.  It is my deepest desire to be much more than a photographer.  It is my deepest desire to be a story teller.  To tell the story of your wedding day.  To tell the story of your love.  To tell the story of your moments.

On this website you will see portions of many different stories.  Stories of love and wedding days.  Stories of senior years and the ones living them.  Stories of new life and families.

Please, enjoy your stay here it is my hope that you get caught up in the stories of these unique individuals.

my bride.

Last weekend my wife planned a great getaway weekend for my birthday and our upcoming 2 year anniversary. Well, we didn’t really get away to far, but we did go hangout in downtown Houston for the entire weekend. We slept in each day, (which after working at Mugz every weekday morning I have come to really appreciate), we watched a few episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond, ate at some awesome restaurants, and most of all, we relaxed.

I would not miss this awesome opportunity to take some photos of the most beautiful woman in the world. We headed to Discovery Green for some photos and I also starting working/experimenting with the Nikon CLS system by taking some head-shots in our hotel room. Simply another reason why Nikon>Canon!

So without any more rambling on my part, here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Kelsey – Seniors 2010.

A few weeks ago my wife and I made the trek out to the George Ranch to meet Kelsey and her dad for some senior portraits.  It was so windy that day which made it a lot of fun to try and capture moments without hair in her face.  On top of the wind, we were also fighting some nice showers throughout the day and then after the showers passed, we were fighting a bright sun.  So we had many elements to deal with, but I would definitely say that this shoot was awesome.  Kelsey was a great sport in doing whatever I told her and I think you will see by these shots, that Kelsey is a great person to be around.

Thanks for the opportunity to share part of your senior story with the world Kelsey!

Snow Day 2009

December 4th 2009 marked a great day in Richmond, TX history.  Today it officially snowed in Richmond, TX before is snowed in New York City, NY.  This is simply awesome.  There was a sleet/snow/rain mixture that started about 6:30 a.m. and then it really started snowing about 8:30 and snowed until about 3 p.m.  It was truly an awesome sight to see.  My brother came out and helped me cover our plants in the backyard because it is going to get down into the 20’s tonight.  So here are a few pictures from Snow Day 2009.
